Inter table new €45m bid for Atalanta’s Lookman

AC Milan and Atalanta continue negotiations for the signing of Ademola Lookman by the Nerazzurri. According to ‘La Gazzetta dello Sport’, the clubs are close to an agreement.

Ademola Lookman is increasingly close to wearing the Inter Milan jersey. The Nigerian international, who exploded onto the scene two seasons ago at Atalanta, could leave the Goddess to strengthen the team now coached by Cristian Chivu.

According to reports in ‘La Gazzetta dello Sport’ on Tuesday, an agreement in the negotiation is now imminent. Inter Milan have increased their offer by 2-3 million euros, reaching 45 million including bonuses.

It is important to emphasize that the Nerazzurri have already reached an agreement with the player’s agents, and Ademola Lookman, once the clubs have finalized the agreement, will sign a contract until 2030 for 4.5 million euros net per season.

Now it’s up to Atalanta to decide whether to accept this 45 million offer or reject it to continue negotiations. In any case, it seems that a positive outcome is only a matter of days.

Ademola Lookman has played three seasons at Atalanta, scoring 15, 17 and 20 goals. In addition to these, he has provided six, nine and six assists respectively. In the 2023-24 season he won the Europa League, proving to be an absolute protagonist in the competition.
