England coach Thomas Tuchel has announced his 26-man squad for the upcoming June internationals, with the Three Lions set to face Andorra and Senegal in fixtures preparing the ground for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
The first encounter takes place in Barcelona on Saturday, 7 June, where England will meet Andorra. The team will then return to home soil to take on Senegal at Nottingham Forest’s City Ground on Tuesday, 10 June.
Among the notable selections is Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah, who receives his first senior call-up after progressing through England’s youth ranks from U16 to U21 levels.
Ivan Toney also earned a surprise recall to Thomas Tuchel’s England squad for internationals. It is a first call-up for the 29-year-old since he left Brentford to join Saudi Arabian club Al-Ahli last August.
Also returning or earning selection under the German boss for the first time are Bukayo Saka, Conor Gallagher, Noni Madueke and Trent Alexander-Arnold, indicating a new era taking shape within the England setup.
The squad is due to assemble in early June, flying to Spain ahead of the Andorra match before returning for the second fixture in the East Midlands.
